Bakkie Buddy is a fabricated steel product used at the front of the loading bay in a bakkie. This high-quality product is strong and durable, and is a simple, cost-effective and modern solution for keeping your Bakkie organized! Bakkie Buddy can be installed in just a few simple steps and is also quick and easy to remove when the full loading bay of the Bakkie is required. Bakkie Buddy allows you to pack and transport parcels, groceries and goods in a neat and secure way. Bakkie buddy comes standard with six fixed hooks for grocery bags and parcels, and two adjustable eye bolts which can be used to secure items with a rope or bungee cord. Bakkie Buddy is supplied ready for DIY installation.

Bakkie Buddy is available in two sizes, 1500mm and 1405mm, in both the premium and eco version. The premium version has a laser cut pattern to give your Bakkie Buddy a modern look and feel, while the eco is a plain steel version.

Installation: Bakkie Buddy has two adjustable locking foot pieces at either end of the product and is supplied with two multi spanners for use in installation.

1. Step one – Select the desired position for Bakkie Buddy in the loading bay. Adjust the foot pieces outwards, on either side of the product, until the pieces touch the sides of the loading bay. Be sure to leave equal spaces between the Bakkie Buddy and the sides of the loading bay.
2. Step two – Continue adjusting all the foot pieces outwards, using the larger 17mm side of the spanner. Adjust until the unit is attached firmly at all fixing points in the desired location.
3. Step three – Using the smaller 13mm side of the multi spanner, tighten the locking nuts on the foot pieces against the side of the Bakkie Buddy.
4. Step four – Using both multi spanners on both the 17mm side of the foot piece and the 13mm side of the locking nut, tighten each locking nut and foot piece simultaneously to securely lock each fixing point in place.
5. Step five – Enjoy your Bakkie Buddy!
